This Privacy Policy explains how LyfWis (“LyfWis”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles personal information in connection with our website at lyfwis.com (the “Site”). Our products, such as PostLayr, may be governed by their own separate policies.

LyfWis is a product-focused software studio based in Delhi, India, serving clients worldwide. For any privacy question or request, you can reach us at support@lyfwis.com. We act as the data controller for personal information collected through the Site.

• Newsletter sign-up: the email address you submit through our subscribe form.
• Contact / enquiry form: details you choose to send us, which may include your name, email address, and the contents of your message or project enquiry.

Information collected automatically

• Technical and log data: when you visit the Site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the pages you view. This helps us keep the Site secure, fast, and reliable.
• Anti-abuse data: we use short-lived, IP-based rate limiting and hidden anti-spam fields to protect our forms from automated abuse.

Third-party fonts

We load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google may receive your IP address and standard request information. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes or information you request.
• To send our newsletter, where you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).

• Service providers / processors: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and security of the Site and our databases), and any email or infrastructure providers we use to operate LyfWis. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate terms.
• Legal and safety reasons: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Business transfers: if LyfWis is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

LyfWis is based in India and uses providers (such as Cloudflare) that operate globally. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own, including India. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business and legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted and access-controlled administration, parameterised database queries, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at support@lyfwis.com. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

• EEA / UK: you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• India: you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access, correction, and erasure, and the right to grievance redressal; you may contact us first and, where applicable, the Data Protection Board of India.
• California: we do not sell personal information; you may request to know or delete your information as described above.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

The public Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies where required for core functionality (for example, a secure session cookie used by our own team to sign in to the private admin area). If we add analytics or other technologies in future, we will update this policy accordingly.

11. Children

The Site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
